About Me
As an academic in the information technology discipline I have varied interests that have evolved over time. My current list includes:
- Web 2.0 applications in the cloud, their implementation and user experience design, particularly for online collaboration
- social media and online collaboration via social networks, blogs, wikis and their derivatives
- cloud computing where day-to-day information management tasks are performed off desktop using the web browser as the only platform
- personal learning networks, their creation and application towards replacing traditional face-to-face education
